GTA 4 Remake Trailer with Unreal Engine 5

Rockstar Games released Grand Theft Auto 4 in 2008. The open-world game immediately became one of the best-selling and highest-rated games. Rockstar added DLCs for Grand Theft Auto 4 that featured new characters, and it supported the game’s online multiplayer servers for years.

There have been rumors that Rockstar Games may be considering to Grand Theft Auto 4 remake or remaster. Those plans were apparently put on ice so the studio could focus on Grand Theft Auto 6. However, fans can get an idea of what it would be like thanks to a concept trailer with Unreal Engine 5.

The new fan remake for GTA 4 looks just as good as their previous ones. The landscapes are once again the focus of this trailer. We’re not sure if Unreal Engine 5 games will be able to match these aesthetics because we haven’t seen any yet.

The fan-made also shows a close-up of Niko Bellic. He it’s not the same character from the 2008 game, but he it’s close. As the protagonist walks down the street at night, the elements in the background seem gorgeous.

Previously, a Bully fan made a video showing what the game would look like if it gets a remake by Unreal Engine. The video starts with cool shadows falling on Jimmy’s face and continues with the map’s impressive rebuild. Ray tracing is the key to the video; you can see that lightning is overwhelmingly used. Also, the graphics are rendered in 4K resolution, which gives us many details.

On the other hand, GTA 6 is rumored to have two playable characters and a setting similar to the Bonnie and Clyde criminal duo. Of course, the duo will have the series’ first female playable character. Other leaks indicate that the game will contain Vice city as part of the total playable area.
