Meeting with Chaudhry has nothing to do with a political partnership – Prof Prasad & Rabuka
National Federation Party Leader Professor Biman Prasad and People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka
National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad and People’s Alliance Leader, Sitiveni Rabuka confirm that they met Fiji Labor Party Leader, Mahendra Chaudhry in a social setting last night but it has nothing to do with a political partnership.
Professor Prasad says they can speak to all party leaders but this does not mean they will have a partnership.
Professor Prasad says they believe they have the partnership to form the next government.
The meeting of the three leaders was organized by former election candidate, Nirmal Singh who had called on the leaders to come together for the sake of the nation.
He posted a photo up on his facebook page that the meeting went well and he was just the platform.
Singh says that there was so much goodwill and respect.
He also says Rabuka and Prasad gave so much respect to Chaudhry as the elder statesman.
Singh posted on his facebook page that Rabuka never even once addressed Chaudhry by his name.
He says Rabuka addressed Chaudhry as Prime Minister, and when the meeting started, Rabuka said they have the elder and Prime Minister there, and let him start the ball rolling.
Singh says today our leaders showed respect, love and embraced each other.
