With its inclusion in the EPEL repository, SingularityCE is now easily accessible to users of Enterprise Linux distributions, giving developers access to the most advanced and widely used container runtime technology for performance-intensive applications and environments.
Singularity, maintained since 2017 as an open source project by Sylabs and a community of developers, is an advanced container technology designed for users who run mission-critical data science, artificial intelligence (AI), and compute-driven analytics on performance-intensive systems .
