Women in Games guide targets gender equality and inclusion

A new Women in Games guide titled, “Building a Fair Playing Field” is available now and is targeting a games industry landscape of gender equality, inclusion and wider diversity.

The second edition of the guide is free to download, close to 150 pages long and full of, “information, inspiration, resources, first-hand accounts, case studies, recommendations and more”.

Written by Women in Games CEO Marie-Claire Isaaman and WiG Education & Research Consultant Sharon Tolaini-Sage, the group says the guide “is for video games, esports, and connected industries of all scales and sizes who are interested in engaging with, and advancing, gender equality and wider diversity and inclusion.

“While [it] is very specifically focused on gender, it encompasses wider intersectional issues of inclusivity and diversity, and can be used to address them at every level, ”Women in Games continued.
